Job Description:
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, EOW, holidays as needed
- Float Requirements: Float as needed across campuses
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers welcome!
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required
- TNCC preferred
- Technological Proficiency:
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required
- Facility Experience:
- STEMI/Stroke certified facility experience preferred
- Community Hospital experience preferred
- LTAC experience preferred
- Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
- Skills Required:
- Arterial line management
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood product administration
- Care of ventilated patients
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) management
- General Emergency Department experience
- Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- IV vasopressors management
- Triage and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Patient Care Focus:
- Diverse patient demographics including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Daily census includes a wide range of visits
- Interdisciplinary support from multiple departments
- Compliance Requirements:
- Active license required at submission
- No open cases permitted in background check
- Submit required RTO with application; no post-submission RTO accepted
- Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
