Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:00)
- Unit Details:
- Diverse diagnoses including:
- Hypertension (HTN)
- Diabetes
- Congestive Heart Failure
- End Stage Renal Disease
- Coronary Artery Disease
- Abdominal Pain
- STEMI/NSTEMI
- Pulmonary Embolism
- COPD
- Behavioral Health
- Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
- Call: None
- Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Minimum Experience: 2 years (first-time travelers accepted)
- Compliance: FULL compliance required to start on time


- RTO (Request Time Off):
- Max 7 days
- Must be finalized at time of submission
- No RTO can be requested during Orientation Week


- Orientation Hours: 12
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: 150


- Patient Ratios:
- Days: 4
- Nights: 4
- Weekends: 4
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- GSCC (can take onsite)
- EBRR (can take onsite)


- Skills Required:
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- Emergency Medications
- General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Non Trauma Emergency Department
- Phlebotomy
- Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Triage
