Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Sign Language Interpreter in a vibrant educational environment. You’ll work full-time, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, providing essential interpreting services for elementary-age students. This is an onsite-only role, giving you the daily connection and classroom presence needed to foster strong communication and inclusivity.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid EIPA score of 3.0 or higher required
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and skilled in educational interpreting
• Previous experience working in schools or with young children is highly valued
• Ability to interpret and translate classroom content and social interactions fluently
• Strong communication skills and professionalism as part of an educational team
• Commitment to full-time, onsite attendance throughout the assignment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear, accurate ASL interpretation for students during classes, activities, and school events
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff, ensuring accessible learning
• Support students’ social, emotional, and educational development through inclusive interpreting
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical interpreting standards
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to meet students’ unique needs
